$$..BEAUTY AND STYLE ( checc out on how to stayy beautiful @ all times )

Here are some quick tips on how to wear eye shadow. Plenty of African-American women think they can’t rock bright colors, but we’re here to prove you wrong. If you have a heavy eyelid like Estelle, blue eyeshadow is just as seductive as black, without being too heavy and overpowering.

Also, if your eyes are on the small side like Rihanna, make them pop by rimming them with an electric blue liquid liner. It screams rebel, but still errs on the side of incredibly chic. Get the Look: Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eye Liner in Navy Blue ($22

How To Choose Make-Up Brushes

The right brush doesn’t just make it easier to apply makeup; it can also allow you to be more precise.
Here’s how to end up with a set that’s perfect for your needs. New York City makeup artist Troy Surratt guides us.
Pick and choose.
At minimum, you need four: a large powder brush, a slightly smaller fluffy brush (for blush, bronzer, and/or highlighter), an eye-shadow brush the size of a fingertip, and a smaller shadow brush (for smudging and blending). For each, look for a slightly domed shape—it rolls best across the skin with the least drag—and a nice fluffy texture, which deposits less pigment so you can be precise. (Synthetics are really only good for applying creams and liquids.)
